We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in de Trulli en de gastheer Eligio en zijn nichtje Sara
hebben meer dan goed voor ons gezorgd. De buitenruimte is groot en omdat het huis op een berg ligt super rustig.
Vanwege de tijd van het jaar, waren we ‘s avonds al wat vroeger binnen.
De ruimte binnen is prima als je samen bent. In de keuken is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. De omgeving is prachtig!

Based on previous reviews we were looking forward to our stay here, we were not disappointed.
The property itself is wonderful, traditional and homely with everything you could need, the patio and pool are very large for the size of the house.
Our host Eligio and his niece Sara gave us a warm welcome and our kitchen table was covered in local produce for us to enjoy during our stay. In summary,
don’t hesitate in booking this property, it’s fabulous and the host is
the best we have had the pleasure to meet.

et Eligio et sa petite fille nous ont attendu et accueillis avec le sourire et présente
l’hébergement avec un grand professionnalisme.
Tout le long du séjour, Eligio a été joignable et très s à l’écoute de nos besoin avec de
nombreuses propositions d’activités et visites dans la région.

Eligio & Sarah were amazing hosts. Friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The place was clean and they
gave us a lot of local recommendations. When we arrived late at night they were waiting with local food and gifts. It was a very peaceful getaway.
Would definitely stay there again if I’m in that area.

Nous tenons à remercier Eligio et Sarah pour l’accueil chaleureux et toutes les attentions apportées durant notre séjour.
Eligio est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes : accueil, panier d’accueil bien garni, petites attentions chaque fois qu’il vient entretenir la piscine : il tient à ce que ses hôtes se trouvent bien dans son logement.
L’endroit est très calme et confortable. La piscine privée est vraiment un plus dans cet endroit charmant.

My partner and I spent a week at Trulli Fogge di Sauro for the first time and what can I say, we will definitely be back. The tranquility of the place, the services offered both inside and outside and the availability of the host Eligio have captivated us! We particularly appreciated the softness of the double bed, the functionality of the air conditioning that cooled the trullo in a very short time, and the peace of the place. Excellent for those who need to unplug (without giving up wifi). Thanks until next time! And thanks Eligio!!

Staying in a Trulli was always a dream for me,I wasn’t disappointed. The character of this accommodation exceeded my expectation. The outdoor space was secluded and had lots of different areas to sit in or out of the sun. The gazebo was covered in lovely smelling jasmine during our stay too. The Owner made it even more special making sure we had everything we needed/wanted and so much more. He would bring gifts with him when he came to clean the pool. Local wine, cakes, cheese to name a few

The host, Eligio, was so wonderful and welcoming. He brought his darling niece, Sarah, to help him with the English check-in. There were amazing welcome gifts of such nice variety, I have never felt so welcome at a VRBO before. The trulli is cozy and compact, but perfect for us. The weather was a bit cold while we were there, but the we still enjoyed the outside spaces. The trulli is centrally located for day trips to Ostuni, Martina Franca, Cisterino and Alberello. Eligio and Sara were wonderful hosts and it was a great experience to spend 4 nights in a trulli!The trulli is a quaint, comfortable, attractive property. It is compact, but has everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. The outside area is private. It is a perfect place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine and read a book. My only quibble is that the property could use use a new shower head. Highly recommended

Our family of four stayed in Trulli Fogge di Sauro in August
The accommodation has everything you might need. The location is quiet and peaceful – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The shaded patio area is a wonderful place to enjoy your meals and spend time together. The BBQ worked very well for us. The beds are comfortable, the air-conditioning keeps the whole home cool. You have a lot of privacy, and the Trulli is secure with locked gates and CCTV cameras.
There is a vineyard within walking distance where you can book a tour with wine tasting and delicious local food. The Trulli is in a rural location, so you will need a car to get around, but the nearest shop is only 10 minutes’ drive away and very well stocked; you can buy all your essentials, but also some delicious hot food and fresh bread, and have a coffee in an adjacent cafe. You can visit some fantastic Puglian towns within a 15-30-minute drive and sandy beaches 30 minutes away. It is a perfect location for visiting this beautiful region.
Our host was the best – attentive, friendly, hospitable and generous. We didn’t have to bring our plug adaptors because he provided us with appropriate adaptors. He was very accommodating about our late arrival. On our arrival, he also gave us some local food and drink and later brought us some delicious local pastries, which he had ordered for us. Our daughters have learnt some Italian from him. We highly recommend the Trulli Fogge di Sauro.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet in close proximity to the beautiful towns of Puglia (Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli, Polignano a mare), this is an excellent opportunity. Your very own, charming traditional trulli, with your own pool to cool down in, outside sitting area and sunchairs in a beautiful garden/terrace. Very quiet and pretty area. Eligio is a fantastic host who will help you with any information you may need. We received a lovely welcome-package with everything we needed to make a traditional Puglian dinner, as well as fresh fruits, water and wine. It was a lovely place, and I would strongly recommend it. The property had everything we needed. It was perfect. The host was super helpful and friendly. The surrounding towns are beautiful and quick and easy to get to. Food, wine and local cornetti delicious. Our holiday there was tranquil and very relaxing.
